Cannes
Old Course
The "Old Course",
founded in 1891 by Grand-Duke Michael of Russia,
is one of the oldest golf courses in France
and is known throughout the world. It was modelled
on the famous St Andrews golf course in Scotland.
It offers 2 courses:
18-holes and 9-holes, laid out in the
shade of century-old pines. The picturesque
18-hole course (5676 m par 71) has
superb links, wide fairways and undulating greens.
There's a river-crossing to gain access to the
3rd hole.
Riviera
Golf Club
Opened in 1991, a century after its famous neighbour,
the Riviera Golf Course was designed by the American
Robert Trent Jones Senior.
Located in an area of unspoiled
natural beauty, surrounded by the l'Estérel
Massif and the mimosa forest, this 18-hole
course(5066 metres, par 71)
is a very technical, undulating and wooded course,
with water hazards.
